Kikibi is an indispensable member of the Scallies, living alongside Akebi and Fopi among the weathered rides and forgotten paths of the Abandoned Park. While the other Scallies are often responsible for coming up with adventures and schemes, Kikibi is usually content to follow along, rarely questioning where the journey leads or why it began in the first place. Calm in almost any situation, Kikibi possesses an easygoing nature that is difficult to disturb. Whether this composure comes from courage, or simply not noticing danger until it has passed is a question even the other Scallies cannot answer. Whatever the reason, Kikibi remains remarkably untroubled by the problems that arise around the trio. More than anything else, Kikibi is known for extraordinary luck. Doors seem to open at the right moment, fortunate discoveries appear in unexpected places, and unlikely escapes have a habit of finding the Scallies whenever Kikibi is nearby. When trouble looms, Akebi and Fopi often take comfort in knowing that fortune has a tendency to follow their quiet companion. Kikibi shares a unique bond with the other Scallies. Long ago, a large bolt of lightning struck one of the abandoned rides in the park, sending energy surging through the old machinery and into the surrounding area, awakening all three Scallies at the same moment. Since that day, Akebi, Fopi, and Kikibi have shared a subtle awareness of one another that few other Fregiebots can understand. Left alone, Kikibi would likely spend most days relaxing in a favourite spot, simply watching the world drift by.
